Documentary-Style Family Photography: Capturing Your Story, One Moment at a Time

Life is made up of moments — the small, everyday ones that may seem ordinary at first, but are the essence of who you are. My documentary-style photography sessions are designed to capture your family as you truly are, in the comfort of your own home, where life unfolds naturally.

I’ll spend 1 to 1.5 hours in your environment, documenting the little things that make your world special. Whether it’s feeding the animals, playing outside, kicking a ball around, snuggling under a tree while reading a book, or simply sharing a quiet, unspoken moment — it’s all part of your unique story, and I’m here to capture it.

These sessions are relaxed and non-invasive, allowing you to be yourselves without the pressure of posing. The goal is to preserve your memories in a way that feels authentic, real, and timeless. The final collection of photos is a keepsake you’ll treasure for years to come, one that you can look back on as your family grows and changes.

The cost of the session is $650, and this includes all the fully edited digital images delivered via download. Most of the photos will be in black and white, capturing the raw emotion and beauty of your family’s story. However, there will be a sprinkle of color throughout the gallery. If there’s a black and white image you’d like converted to color, I’m happy to do that for you — just let me know.

Please note that the “This is Us” package is primarily black and white. If you’d prefer a more traditional, color-focused style, you might want to consider the Family Lifestyle Package, which incorporates more vibrant color photography.
